If you have never been there, make sure you do not miss Piazza Duomo, Giotto’s majestic bell tower and Brunelleschi’s dome, Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi, the marvellous Ponte Vecchio, from which you may enjoy a magnificent view on Lungarni Fiorentini, Palazzo Pitti and Giardino di Boboli.
Lucca, the XVI century city
Lucca is about 28 Km away, among the monuments we suggest Piazza San Michele, where you may admire the spectacular medieval church, Palazzo del Decanato and Palazzo Pretorio, the Duomo di San Martino, Piazza Anfiteatro and its famous elliptic shape and Torre Guinigi.
